Welcome

Math is the "gateway" to higher education - earning a 2 or 4-year degree at most schools requires meeting math requirements - usually at least an algebra course.  The good news is that we don't have to all be "experts" in theoretical math to be successful in college math classes.

Here are some resources to help students in secondary school or post secondary school prepare for math classes.  It is the companion Website for a developmental math course I taught at the University of Wisconsin.

I have posted my ALGEBRA CONNECTIONS "newsletters" - short summaries and presentations of basic concepts as well as some SKILL REVIEW CERTIFICATES that present step-by-step procedures to solve basic algebra problems.

You will also find a huge assortment of SKILL BUILDING LINKS that will direct you to some of the best free online resources on the Web.  I have also have a link for STUDY GUIDES that includes links to downloadable, printable algebra reviews, worksheets, and other print format resources.

So thanks for stopping by - please take a look.  If you are looking for math help, seeking to prepare for the ACT/SAT, or getting ready to take your first college math course, you are sure to find some worthwhile resources here.
